Implementation of Artificial Intelligence projects and services: current scenarios, operational and legal impacts.

Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno held a five-hours Training Course for the CONSOB, the National Commission for Companies and the Stock Exchange, focused on the application of AI systems and solutions to the financial markets. All the technological, legal and operational implications have been discussed: from the data protection consequences to the contractual aspects; from the criticalities related to IP Rights on AI, software and algorithms to the the liability for the employment of AI systems; from the relationships between AI, smart contracts, Blockchain and the DLT - Distributed Ledger Technology to the impact of AI on the criminal law sector. Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno further analyzed the soon-to-be legal framework scenarios according to the EU White Book on AI released by the EU Commission on February 2020 and went in-depth with the Italian national strategy on the AI as released by the Minister for Economic Development.
