Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence: risks, relationships and criticalities.

Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno was commissioned by Confindustria Treviso and the Confindustria training body UNISEF to hold a high-level training course for member companies on the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and the regulatory, technical and organizational profiles referred to in the GDPR.

During the 5 hours of teaching, the following aspects were discussed in depth - among others:

the current technological scenarios of AI;
the methods of learning by the AI;
the main AI regulatory initiatives at national and international level;
the relationship between GDPR and AI, with particular reference to areas such as: DPIA, privacy by design, profiling and fully automated decisions, risk assessment, etc;
future rules on AI based on the Guidelines and the 2020 White Paper on AI of the EU Commission;
the new legal paradigms imposed by AI in civil law, intellectual property law and criminal law;
practical and contractual advice when purchasing products, goods, solutions and services based on AI.
