International data transfers towards third non-EU countries in light of the latest regulatory changes.

In this 4-hour workshop, Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno carried out an in-depth analysis of the current framework relating to international transfers of personal data outside the European Union, updated to the principles affirmed by the EU Court of Justice in the so-called "Schrems II" judgment, to the EDPB Recommendations 1/2020 and 2/2020 - now final - and - finally - to the latest regulatory changes represented by the adoption of the new standard clauses for the transfer of data to non-EU countries as approved by the EU Commission with the Decision 914/2021 and by the recent UK adequacy decision, issued by the EU Commission.
