The transfer of personal data between the EU and the U.S.: the perspectives in light of the proposed U.S. American Data Privacy & protection Act - ADPPA.

On the occasion of the conference "Data Transfers Abroad and the New U.S.-EU Agreement" organized for the inauguration of the Academic Year 2022/2023 of the Master Data Protection & Data Protection Designer®, sponsored by Facebook and the Italian Data Protection Authority, Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno will discuss a paper outlining the possible, future U.S. federal law framework on personal data protection.

The Conference will be hosted at Binario F from Facebook - the first physical space for digital training in Italy, created directly by Facebook - and home of the Academy of the Italian Institute for Privacy and Data Protection.

Prof. Avv. Alessandro Del Ninno will discuss the topics of the conference - among others - with Guido Scorza (Component of the College of Privacy Guarantor), Luigi Montuori (Head of Service for EU and International Matters of the Privacy Guarantor) and Stefano Fratta (EMEA Privacy Policy Director - Meta), presenting a report on the proposed U.S. federal data protection law, in comparison with the GDPR.
