Handling data protection within the company: simplifications and criticalities. New law amendments in 2011-2013 and General Deliberations of the Italian Data Protection Authority

Prof. Alessandro del Ninno has discessed a lecture focused on the law simplifications introduced within the Italian Data Protection Code in the period 2011 - 2013.

Further analisys has been carried out with regard to the Italian Data Protection Authority's General Deliberations of May and July 2013 introducing important rules raleting to data processing for marketing purposes.

Finally, a specific scenario as deriving from the amendments introduced to the legislative decree no. 231/2001 on criminal liability of companies has been discussed with reference to the inclusion of the crime of Illicit data protection as provided by article 167 of the Italian Data protection Code.
