The interview concerned the deliberation by which the Italian Data Protection Authority fined for Euro 500,000 the Municipality of Rome for unlawful data processing of users who use the "skip-the-line" booking system called "TuPassi". During the interview, Prof. Alessandro del Ninno highlighted the peculiarities of the measure and the complex investigation carried out by the Authority over almost 5 years and that led to the sanction applied both to the Municipality of Rome and to the provider of the system, the company MirrorPass.
