Smart working without individual agreement prorogated until March 2022.
The Council of Ministers has decided to extend the state of emergency related to the pandemic emergency due to COVID-19 until March 31, 2022.
The state of emergency, which on the whole cannot last more than 24 consecutive months, has essentially two effects: it allows the Civil Protection to act in derogation from certain regulations, such as those that regulate public facilities, and allows the Government to intervene on certain issues through DPCM.
This means that until the date indicated above, the rules established for smart working during the first lockdown period will also continue to be valid, to adopt this method an agreement between employees and employers will continue to be sufficient and no communications will be required.
