Supreme Court of Cassation: final term for the payment of privacy fines.
With the ordinance no. 38510 of December 6th, 2021, the Supreme Court rules on the moment in which it can be considered that the exemption from the obligation to pay pursuant to Article 14 par. 6 of Law no. 689/1981.
The Supreme Court has identified the dies a quo, from which the term of ninety days for carrying out the inspection activity is to run, and beyond which the exemption of the aforementioned article is triggered, when the Data Protection Authority has acquired and evaluated the data at its disposal.
