Specialist Training in Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Regulation
Understanding the New Rules. Managing Their Impact on Business.
Digital transformation is profoundly reshaping the way businesses use data, technologies and Artificial Intelligence systems. The GDPR, the AI Act, the European regulatory framework governing personal and non-personal data, and the new rules applicable to digital services and markets can no longer be regarded as separate areas of regulation: they directly affect business processes, management decision-making, internal organisational structures and the responsibilities of the various corporate functions.
I am a lecturer at the Academy of the Italian Institute for Privacy and Data Valorisation (Istituto Italiano per la Privacy e la Valorizzazione dei Dati) and on its “Maestro della Protezione dei Dati & Data Protection Designer®” programme.
As part of my teaching activities at the Academy, I have developed specialist distance-learning courses covering key topics in Data Protection, the digital regulation of personal and non-personal data, Artificial Intelligence, and Information and Communication Technology, with a particular focus on their practical implications for businesses.
The training is designed for professionals who need to go beyond merely understanding the law: they need to know how to apply it, what decisions must be taken, and which organisational safeguards and governance arrangements should be put in place.
The courses therefore examine legal requirements alongside their operational implications, including governance, roles and responsibilities, corporate procedures, risk assessment, relationships with suppliers and technology platforms, data use, the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, and compliance with new European regulatory requirements.
They are aimed in particular at DPOs, General Counsel, Legal and Compliance Officers, executives, managers, ICT and Innovation leaders, and professionals seeking to update or deepen their expertise in the areas that are reshaping organisations’ digital governance.

The objective is to provide specialist training based on a predominantly practical and application-oriented approach: understanding the regulatory framework, identifying the issues it raises in real-world business contexts, and translating legal and regulatory obligations into organisational solutions that can be effectively implemented in practice.
