For the offence of defamation by means of a social network, committed by several defendants residing in different places and located in different districts, the jurisdiction of the territory belongs to the judge of the place where the office of the public prosecutor that first registered the crime is located. This principle was affirmed by judgment 7377/2023 of the fifth section of the Court of Cassation.
